She is beauty, she is strength, she is Divine Power... and she will not hesitate to shoot an arrow straight through your heart.

This shoot was inspired by various ethnicities of early civilizations from Native America to the Ottoman Empire. Nicola and Ami attracted by the strong features of the model, Lakshmi, saw in her the image of a modern day warrior queen. She is Cleopatra and Pocahontas combined... draped in Aztec gold.

Custom made gold chain vests, chain and crystal collars, pebble bracelets, and elaborately bejeweled armbands add the necessary SOTU glitz and glam that seems to make even J Lo jealous. Granted in this shoot she was made of plastic. But, hey, life in plastic, it's fantastic!

SOTU fashion team and fine art photographer Ted Sabarese has done what we do best: Turn fantasies into reality. This 13 hour day and the week of plotting and produce shopping prior to the shoot is Project Runway meets Top Chef meets Hell's Kitchen meet America's Next Top Model meets MEATS.... and bread and breakfast and bananas! Eat your heart out.
